Custom cat Telegram stickers: your cat as a real Telegram pack

Telegram is the friendliest app for custom stickers: no third-party app, a shareable link, and up to 120 stickers in a pack. You only need the right files and five minutes with the official @Stickers bot.

Why Telegram is great for a cat pack

Unlike WhatsApp, Telegram lets anyone publish a sticker pack directly inside the app through its official bot, @Stickers. Once published, the pack gets its own link (t.me/addstickers/yourname). Send that link to friends and they add your cat with one tap – on phone, tablet and desktop. Cats, with their huge range of unimpressed faces, are basically made for this.

Telegram's rules for static stickers

RuleRequirement
FormatPNG or WEBP with a transparent layer
DimensionsFits in 512 × 512, with at least one side exactly 512 px
File sizeMaximum 512 KB
StyleTelegram recommends a white outline and a soft shadow so stickers read on dark and light chats
AnimatedTelegram does not accept animated WebP; animated stickers must be .TGS, video stickers .WEBM (VP9)

PetMagi's stickers_png.zip follows these rules: 512 px transparent PNGs with a white die-cut outline. The four animated WebP stickers in the 32 pack are made for WhatsApp; for Telegram use the static PNGs.

Step by step with the @Stickers bot

  1. Make the pack on PetMagi pet stickers and download stickers_png.zip. Unzip it on the device where you use Telegram (desktop is fastest).
  2. In Telegram, search for @Stickers (the official bot, with the verified tick) and tap Start.
  3. Send /newpack. The bot asks for a name – this is the title people see, e.g. "Mochi the Cat".
  4. Send the first PNG as a file, not as a photo. On mobile choose File in the attach menu; sending it as a photo compresses it and the bot rejects it.
  5. Reply with one emoji that matches the sticker (😂 for LOL, 😴 for good night). Emoji are how Telegram suggests your stickers while you type.
  6. Repeat for every sticker, then send /publish. You can pick an icon or send /skip to use the first sticker.
  7. Choose a short name for the link. Done – your pack lives at t.me/addstickers/<short name>.

Later you can add more stickers with /addsticker, reorder or delete them through the same bot. The pack belongs to your Telegram account.

Getting a cat photo that works

Which captions cats deserve

The standard set covers hi, love you, LOL, no, sad, grrr, good night, hungry, OMG, thank you, party, cool, sorry, OK, bye and miss you – available in English, German, French, Spanish and Japanese. In practice cat owners use "no", "hungry" and "sorry (not sorry)" the most, so put those first when you upload to the bot; the first stickers show first in the panel.

FAQ

Is it free to publish a Telegram sticker pack?

Yes. Publishing with the official @Stickers bot is free. You only need sticker files in the right format; PetMagi packs cost $3.99 (16) or $6.99 (32).

What size must Telegram stickers be?

PNG or WEBP with transparency, fitting inside 512 × 512 pixels with at least one side exactly 512 px, and at most 512 KB.

Why does the @Stickers bot reject my picture?

Usually it was sent as a compressed photo instead of a file, or neither side is exactly 512 px. Send the original PNG as a file.

Can my friends use my cat stickers?

Yes. After /publish you get a t.me/addstickers link; anyone with the link can add the pack.
